A common thought often brought up when starting out in property investment is whether we should hire a property manager or just do it ourselves.
What I have realised is that it is better to hire a property manager experienced in dealing with common problems that may arise when working with the properties we have invested in. Sometimes we just don’t have enough time to look over some of the more mundane aspects of our tenant’s problems, like having to fix something broken on the property. Also, it may just be too overwhelming having to deal with multiple properties, and it would make a big difference to have a professional by our side.
Many people generally get the impression that having property is instant passive income but in reality, many things come into play before it happens.
