“Accountability is the glue that ties commitment to the result.” – Bob Proctor
I’ve experienced burnout for many reasons–it could be from too much work, lack of purpose, or even the discouraging feeling of not seeing results right away.
In my years as a property investor, I discovered many ways to stay motivated but one important tip that got me through was to hold myself accountable.
I imagine how different my life could be right now if I didn’t set out to do what I told myself I would. By holding myself accountable, it rids me from excuses and helps me stay consistent and proactive towards my goals.
I remind myself to not give up if things feel like they aren’t taking a turn for the better yet. It may not seem that way at first, but as I look back, I can see how far I have come.
No matter how bad the day or how unmotivated I get, I pause, take a breather, and continue on with the end goal in mind.
